Dunk

Hello! Do you know what it is like to have too many ideas? I had these three pics and I just couldn't settle on one idea. So when the perfect three pic sketch was posted, I decided to play along at Pencil lines and their 200th sketch. With that, came a colour challenge from Color Combos Galore. Here's what I came up with:

The journal tags reads: Your first set of swimming lessons and you loved every minute of it!

Thanks so much for stopping in! Cheers!

My boys

It has been a busy week and time has gotten away from me! Suddenly, it's Thursday night. Where did the week go? I am looking forward to catching up with myself this weekend...

A quick share tonight. I have lots of creating to do in the next couple of evenings...

I don't plan on adding any journaling; just a date. I have lots of pages with many sentiments written down, so I thought I would leave it well enough alone.

I am finding I have to adjust to the changing light. I will have to create ahead and take pictures on the weekends. I just don't get home from work early enough to catch the right light!

Thanks for stopping in! Have a great night!

Screen time

Hello! I've been creating a lot lately, but I only have one layout I can share. This was created using a combination of products from all sorts of different SC kits (this is how I was introduced to Pebbles, btw). The page is based on the Birthday Bonus #1 sketch from Stuck?! Sketches. I decided to flip the sketch upside down.

Our front landing is screened in and we love it! It also provided a buffer zone for when A was little and couldn't handle stairs. The screen took a beating (and hasn't quite ever been the same) but the little man is safe.

Thanks for stopping in! Have a great night!

Something different

Hello! I thought I would share a layout today that is a little different than my normal style. I saw this Bo-Bunny paper and couldn't resist playing with it. I am still not sure about the layout but I had a lot of fun creating it (and that is really what this scrapbooking thing is all about, isn't it?).

These are pics we took of Miss E a couple of years ago. We started a new family tradition that year. Now we head to the beach on Thanksgiving morning and have lunch at a wonderful fish and chip shop right on the beach. We get back just in time to get the turkey in the oven. It is a great way to spend the day!

Thanks for stopping in! Be sure to check out a new sale is posted over at SGD!

I also want to thank my scrappy friends, for all the support and kind words. You are the best and make all of this so much fun!

Uppa

Happy Saturday! It has been a long day, but I will keep the moaning to myself ;)

A quick share today. Our little man in his full glory of being two. When he wants up, he will follow us around yelling 'uppa' until he gets what he wants. Oh to be two again...

I have extend a big thank you to GCD Studios. I received my box for my upcoming guest time and I am overwhelmed with the wonderful generosity. It is going to be a lot of fun to create over the next couple of weeks. I may also have a couple of good reasons to hit the craft store! (I know, it's tough but someone has to do it ;)

Thanks for stopping in! I hope you had a great day.

Carwash

Hello! Thanks for stopping in! A quick share today. Pics of Evelyn from a couple of years ago. She decided that she needed to wash her car after we washed ours (not to worry, we used a bucket and only sprayed to rinse). In the end, she ended up more wet than her car did!

I would like to welcome all the new visitors to my blog! I seem to be getting a few more hits of late. Great to have you here and I am looking forward to meeting a few new scrappers!

PS -Just a reminder that a new sale is up at SGD! Be sure to check it out.

Treat

Good morning! What does it look like out your window today? The sky is ominous outside of ours. I think we'll be in for some thunderstorms today. Might be a useful thing, seeing as we have some serious house cleaning to do!

So in the spirit of avoiding house cleaning, I thought I would ride the trend and do some surfing and posting ;)

Nothing better than a Popsicle after a hot soccer game! And if it is available, red it the colour of choice. I stocked up on several large boxes of cold treats at the beginning of the summer and we've already worked through them and most of a new batch. It has been a very hot summer!

I am loving that pp line from Girls' Paperie. I find it so versatile. And of course, I used another die cut. Just can't get enough of them these days.

Have a great day! Hope you find time to create.

Ummm really?

I received this unexpected and awesome email yesterday. One of those ones where your jaw drops open and you ask your husband if it is possible that the email address was entered wrong.
I am thrilled to be a part of the Pebbles Inc design team for 2010-11. Really great products that are cute and classy. Head on over to the Pebbles blog and check out the list of designers. I am truly lucky to be on that list of names. There are some amazingly creative people on this list!

Thanks for letting me share my excitement!

Au naturel

Gotta love a long weekend. This day has felt so long and we still have another day to enjoy! I found a little time to play with paper today, so I wanted to share:

Nothing like a rhubarb leaf for a little fun and excitement. As you can see, the plants were huge this year.

We also celebrated a birthday today! The little man it two! Where has the time gone?
Don't worry, he simply decided that he needed to be REALLY close to the candle in order to blow it out. Scared us too!

Thanks for stopping in! Hope you enjoy tomorrow!
